来自意大利的Neo－Classical乐队，由3 名成员组成: Luigi Rubino(钢琴)，Sergio Panarella(主唱) 和Alfredo Notarlobert(小提琴)，Alfredo同时也是意大利另一个新古典乐队Argine的小提琴手，小提琴柔美的弦音几乎贯穿了所有作品的始终，简约、古典，配上Panarella忧郁的嗓音，具有所有新古典音乐作品唯美沉静的气质。


专辑简介：

　　专辑包含15首歌曲,其中包括了demo中的5首曲目.静静的听完一遍之后,我感到最动人的部分仍然集中在demo中出现过的那几首歌.新增的曲目有一部分是纯器乐曲(Horizons, Silver Eyes),也有仅仅用于穿插过渡的短曲(Oceans).所以在感觉上,这部作品是把demo-"For My Sun"精心编排修饰了一下,以期更加完美和谐.事实也是如此,专辑在完整性,流畅性上都比"For My Sun"提升了一个高度,只是没有出现新的激动人心的曲目,令我稍稍感到遗憾.
　　专辑中出现的几首新曲虽然没有给我带来太多的震撼,但是它们在延续了Ashram以往风格的基础上,也增加了新的特点.最明显的是Sergio的嗓音出现了变化,在轻柔,抒情的基础上增加了几分扭曲(Forever at Your Mercy).另几首新作品：Elisewin一曲灵感来源于意大利先锋作家Alessandro Baricco的"海洋,海"(Oceano Mare);Lucky\'s Song则似乎是为Sergio的爱犬而作.另外,专辑的最后三分钟有一首隐藏曲目.
　　Ashram的作品有个特点,就是歌词都非常的短小简约,有的只有3,4行而已. 这也说明了他们把作品精神更多的赋予了歌曲的旋律本身.
　　这张专辑在那不勒斯的Il Parco录音室制作和混音,旧的曲目也经过了重新制作,显得更加细致.但是这张CD在某几曲的衔接部分有杂音出现,真是让人不爽!

Ashram is back after some 4 years with a splendid second album. Shining Silver Skies contains very delicate and beautiful neoclassical music. This music is the ultimate way to get totally relaxed and to enjoy intensively in a way in which everything seems to be very light. In weight, in colour and in sound. The music has just about the exact right balance between light atmospheres and deep emotions without getting all pathetic or bombastic. The ingeniously thought-out and very versatile piano sounds by Luigi Rubino create the base over which the violin of Edo Notarloberti plays it’s arrangements. There can sometimes also be heard a chello sound which adds the necessary depth to the compositions. The whole picture regarding this pure music with a slightly nostalgic character is made complete by the wonderful, sometimes almost crooning, vocals of Sergio Panarella. Sergio’s voice is melodic and has a certain degree of accessibility that borders the popular and which ensures that the music doesn’t come across as too heavy or pompuous yet deliciously balances on that fine thin line. This is truly exceptionally good.

Four years after their homonymous debut, the Italian ensemble finally completes their second album, “Shining Silver Skies”, a work which unfolds itself as an exercise in musical bliss and purity, drenched in sweet nostalgia that flickers through memories of aching loss or rapturous passion. The trio is also assisted by guest cellist Leonardo Massa on these recordings, whose contribution brings a discreet additional depth to “Shining Silver Skies”, an album which not only embodies the romantic backdrop of early 1900’s glamour but that also flirts with a slightly na?ve Folk spirit occasionally.
