Film Review The Legacy of Rosina Lhevinne By Bruce Fessier The Desert Sun January 12th, 2002
Documentary Synopsis: A look at the life of pianist Rosina Lhevinne, the gold medal winner of the 1898 Tchaikovsky Competition who went on to become, at 82, the oldest female soloist in the history of the New York Philharmonic and a prestigious instructor at the Juilliard School of Music. She taught until age 96 and her pupils included the greatest pianists of their generation, including 1958 Tchaikovsky Competition winner Van Cliburn.
For music lovers, this is a fascinating look at how a great instructor teaches a technically great pianist how to make the music sing -- she sings along as if she were playing it! Great footage of a departed legend that shows how she was able to transfer the Russian technique that produced pianists from Rachmaninov to Horowitz to American students, including the Asian Gwhyneth Chen. This also tells a human story about a woman who subverts her potential so her husband may become the family's great pianist, and who overcomes any prejudices one might have about age. 他的拉3不太拉赫，重音也是很奇怪的，总体给人感觉吃力，不过还是不错的，值得鼓励

说的对~对于年轻音乐家应该看的谨慎一些~不要一味去吹捧和跟风~
